Prior to entering into his private practice, Phil Gose was a Senior Financial Analyst with Sprint Corporation. Phil was part of a specialized team responsible for analyzing cost and revenue relationships across Sprint's long distance business network. Long fascinated with statistics and the financial marketplace, Phil's tenure with Sprint is characterized by delivering revenue models that helped Sprint capitalize its investment return within the business marketplace.
Developing a Passion
In 1998, Phil recognized his desire to make a difference in people's lives. This was reinforced when he helped a loved one deal financially with the impact of a divorce. Crunching numbers for a market giant was lucrative but not wholly gratifying. Phil wanted to help people make some of the most important decisions in their livesthose that concern money. Since that time, Phil has specialized in estate tax, retirement, and investment planning for executives, professionals, and owners of closely held businesses.
Phil is a graduate of Iowa State University where he earned a bachelors degree in statistics along with a minor in economics. As an active member of the community, Phil is a member of the National Financial Planning Association (FPA), and the FPA of Central Iowa and is a Knights of Columbus member. He is also a member of the Association of Business and Industry and is a 2003 graduate of their Leadership Iowa Class, a program committed to quality leadership in Iowa.
Both local print and television media have highlighted Phil. Topics have included estate planning, college planning, and investment planning. In the spring of 2004, Phil was a guest lecturer for an Iowa State University finance class discussing investment optimization modeling and its role in building effective asset allocation strategies.
Phil has helped his clients organize their financial lives by striving to remove fear and uncertainty.
